From our Vice-Chencellor's Desk

We are at the threshold of the new millenium. Educational institutes must deliver in terms of being able to impart relevant, quality and contemporary education in the emerging environmental context. This challenge needs to get amplified, as there is a growing need for introspection and efficient performance by public higher education systems. We, at the M S University of Baroda, are keenly aware of this imperative and are proactively working on further enhancing its existing reputation of being an outstanding university.

Our M S Patel Institute, the Faculty of Management Studies, which was founded in 1984, has already earned a name as a leading university based Management School in this part of the country. It’s three hundred fifty plus alumni have been placed in excellent organisations in India and abroad. The institute is carving out a niche for itself as a centre of excellence in the field of management education.

This year, we offer our fifteenth batch of students for final placement and the sixteenth batch of students for summer placement. We believe that a vibrant industry-institution interface is a vital support for the M S Patel Institute. On behalf of the institute and the university, I extend a warm invitation for you to participate in our placement programmes. Our students eagerly look forward to work with your esteemed organization.
